Yup. If you don't have a connection fast enough to stream at 4k reliably, you can't just download it to watch it later where your own device holds the content or your local network can handle streaming from computer to TV. It makes sense with high bandwidth streaming to download and then play...
Remember that this is a pretty highly overclocked 2600k. Base clock is 3.4k. So you're probably getting 10-15% off the overclock alone. So a STOCK i7-2600k vs a STOCK i7-7700K is probably more like 35-45%. Now. One can easily argue that a 2600k overclocks well and easily. But not everyone did...
Well, getting AMD caught up to Intel is a good sign. Particularly since Intel has really not done much innovation on the desktop side in a long time. I'm still rocking a 6-year-old 2600K...albeit with an SSD in the system and as of last week a GTX1070 graphics card.

I think (hope) that the comment about the US Dept of Ed was a joke about how much money they waste on silly ideas that (clearly -- at least to eh majority of classroom educators) won't do what they are intended to do.
It worked fine on my 120GB 320 drive as well. I never had the 8MB problem, but this is my third drive. The first had a SMART failure and the second would randomly disconnect -- which is a bit of a problem for the OS drive.
Well, I'm a teacher too and I think that the law is absurd. I don't as a general personal policy make social network contacts with my students. But I'm actually planning on making a social network page for my class this year to facilitate outside of class sharing of information and questions...
Solution:
1. Get rid of the unions.
2. Pay teachers as well, or better, than other professionals (doctors, lawyers, and engineers).
3. Demand the best people as teachers.

You can bend any aluminum alloy if you pay attention to the bend radius. For zero bend radius 2021, 5052, and 6061 without temper work well. 3003 should also work well, though it isn't in the chart...
