Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I read this review, TomsHardware, and Guru3D and looked at game performance for each of the titles that overlapped between the reviews. It's crazy the performance difference between the 3. This one definitely skews toward the Nvidia side, while others seem to be even, or point to the AMD side
I got my Aorus (non-Xtreme) in last night. Man, this this is such an upgrade from my two 290's. I play at 4k, and typically leave AA at 2x because I don't really see (visually) a huge benefit in cranking it at such a high res:
Doom Ultra Settings 2x AA (No nightmare settings) - over 100fps...
I got a Gigabyte Aorus (non-Xtreme). I was going to go for the Xtreme, but Gigabyte was out of pre-orders. It will arrive today and I'm so excited. My last Nvidia card was an EVGA 8800 GT. I got sick of waiting for Vega to probably just be disappointed by its performance.
This will be my third...
I also vote for 4k benchmarks, but I'm one of the few who use a 4k monitor apparently.
As a compromise, in many reviews you see 1080p and 1440p benchmarks. Why not just leave out 1080p entirely? Granted, I haven't read a videocard review in a while since I've been waiting for the TI and Vega...
My first rig came from iBuyPower (regretful decision) with an evga nvidia 7300GT. I was on a strict budget since I was just a HS student working at McDonalds lol. The first gpu upgrade, I bought the slim evga 8800GT. Also my fav card of all that I've owned. That thing lasted me years.
I have a 4k monitor in my current set-up along with 2x r9 290's. These have served me well for the most part...when there's actual crossfire support for the games I'm trying to play. However, I've been looking to upgrade and boarded the hype train a few weeks ago for destination GTX 1080/1070...
This is probably the biggest thing. It's not worth your money to upgrade now. Try getting a refurb/used card somewhere to hold you over. Do you absolutely need eyefinity right now? If not, jump to a used 290x or new 390 for relatively cheap. If you do, move back to win7 / win8.1. It's not like...
I'm hoping to stay between $249 - $300 max price range. I will look into the G Flex 2 at $329, but I've heard negative things about the 810 SoC in that phone. I listed the Z3 because they've been trending closer to $300 on swappa, but have since shot back up in the $400 range. I don't believe...
I'm in the market for an unlocked, off-contract phone. I currently am on AT&T in the US. I was hoping to get a little feedback from anyone who owns, knows about, or has had experiences with any of these devices in making a purchasing decision. I just need something with solid performance, decent...
I definitely agree that the dialogue is definitely overblown. There's nothing I hate more in games than over-used phrases and what not during intense action scenes in games. I believe it detracts more than it helps. Uncharted is almost THE prime example of this. I played part of Uncharted 1 and...
I think the one thing I was left disappointed with on Sony's end is the lack of a blockbuster for the remainder of 2015. I realize that MS really only had the Gear Remaster collection and Halo 5 as their exclusives, but everything exciting Sony showed isn't going until, at earliest, the end of...
How's is the Crossfire performance in Project Cars with 15.5 Beta? AMDCare and Roy stated there's a CF profile for CARS in 15.5, but I don't see it anywhere in the Release Notes.
Hey all,
Looking to buy an unlocked phone in the next 2 months. One phone I've always liked has been the Z3. Not a huge fan of its styling, but the battery, internals, camera, and waterproofing make it a very attractive purchase. I've seen prices finally start to come down on new ones (the...
