    WC for 24/7 operation?

This thread got me thinking about pump maintenance. Besides flow meters and noticable increases in temperature, are there any warning signs? Anything that can be done proactively for the pump during the drain/refill maintenance to make sure it keeps running smoothly? Lastly anyone have...

    Radiator cleaning

You won't void your warranty taking the storm apart, unless the place you purchased it from has stickers on it but even then that doesn't invalidate Swiftech's warranty and you can always use a hair dryer to carefully peel the stickers. My DD Maze4 had stickers and I was able to take it apart...

    Radiator cleaning

I followed the guide when setting up my loop and let not only vinegar sit in my radiator for 6 hours but also let the copper components of the waterblocks sit submerged in vinegar as well. I can't complain, my system is running great, and no strange particles flowing in the tubes.

    DD TDX vs Storm?

Thats whats reported by MBM5, it may be inaccurate but all I have to go on. I have a window air conditioning unit in the room always running around 70 degrees fahrenheit which is just about right for 20 degree celcius room temperature. Its not that implausible, unless you are confusing celcius...

    BIP3 & Thermaltake Armor

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't, It wouldn't be a good picture as tubing and wires and res are now in the way. Basically I have zip ties going through the fan holes in the BIPROIII and through the holes in the steel where the drives would slide in. The BIPROII itself has the in/out on the...

    BIP3 & Thermaltake Armor

BIPROII in front and a single BIPRO on the 120 exhaust on the back between the cpu and video cards. That was my original plan before I saw the BIPROIII on sale for 29.99 and purchased it on impulse . Thankfully it worked out well for me.

    PC Restarting....

If the power supply is a hand me down from your older PC, make sure it's appropriate for the new motherboard (has 24 pins native and not 20, if required)and has enough juice to power all your devices, especially the newer video cards. I wouldn't use anything below 500w these days. Also check...

    BIP3 & Thermaltake Armor

If you haven't purchased your case yet you are better off with a stacker if you want to mount it on the bottom. Also while the drive bays in the TT armor can be removed, the metal structure they slide into can not and will inhibit placement somewhat. Really not much you can do besides the...

    Women and case modding=$$$$$

Kudos on the 33 years of marriage, you've got yourself something more beautiful then any case mod, a best friend for life.

    Post your D5 speed

My pump is at 5 and I can't even hear it. My lowest idle temps after turning on the monitor one morning to make sure nothing bad happened(crazy paranoid habit I've developed since starting watercooling to check it out before work) with air conditioning running all night in that room was 20c, and...

    1/2inch barbs + 7/16ths tubes = need clamps?

even with dish detergent and a cup of hot almost but not quite boiling water, I needed to win a few dexterity saves to get 7/16" on the Liang pump. The barbs on the blocks and res were relatively easy, even the radiator was not too bad

    7900GTX - Normal/Extreme/XXX? Questions

Gauranteed OC and better quality chip that can sustain at least that much. I've also heard some manufacturers do their own volt mod in the design as opposed to reference boards, but not sure about the XFX.
