Asus P5P800-MX and DDR 400 - do I have good speed?
You have to go into bios and set it to 400MHz. I believe it's the advanced chipset menu, but I'm currently on my laptop at school and I can't help you any further. If you still have issues with this I could probably help you out when I go home for the weekend because I have p5p800.- Dr. Doom

I currently have an ASUS P5P800 that I'm pleased with because I've had no issues with it. I'm currently running kingston hyperx PC3200 ram, a basic AGP card, and a P4 630. I just bought an Abit AA8XE brand new for $42 at microcenter, and I was just wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to this...- Dr. Doom

Asus p4p800 deluxe or p4p800 se
I can vouch for that board because I'm currently running a P5P800, which is the same board except mine is the socket 775 version. It OCs very well and is the most stable board I've ever owned. Good luck!- Dr. Doom
