Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Fuck and I was considering snagging a cheap 290 and a new PSU to try my first crossfire...hearing stuff like this certainly makes it sound a lot less appealing.
If so, how soon? I understand the basic premise as to why it cannot currently be easily supported...but are we looking at years or decades still?
I also understand it can be a game by game basis. My question is focused on GPU companies making dual card configurations absolutely seamless.
Just got my ASUS 1440p 144hz IPS w/ Freesync, but with my lone 290 I can't run demanding titles anywhere near the144 fps range.
After testing Freesync in BF4 it seems to be working well enough (Ultra with 2xMSAA getting 65-75 FPS, 4xMSAA was a good 20 frames less). However, I wouldn't mind...
Considering what happened to the 700 series...
Seriously though, they are both neck and neck. Would be a waste of time and energy to return a card of the same tier for another one. Stick it out until you can't take it anymore and then SLi with 970's...which are supposedly one of the best...
