I ended up opening the 5SC1000iR up and it as a DWPH EFS-08E12D-ER09 fan. Unluckily, spec sheets for DWPH fans are impossible to find, so I'm going to go in blind. If anyone knows more about this fan or model I'd appreciate it. I'm really not sure if it uses a tachometer signal or locked...
