Recommend me a card(s) for eyefinity -$250ish budget

If you are looking for a single card Eyefinity solution the 7950 is the "Entry Level" for that category IMO.

    Great mod, great game too.

Can I be the first to say ive NEVER had a problem with ATI/AMD drivers?

Radeon 8500 Radeon x850xt Radeon 5770 AMD 7950 I didn't have any drivers issues to complain about until my 7950, and even then it's not a deal breaker. I've had a NVIDIA 8800 XLR8 card that was rock solid on drivers as well but it holds the distinction of being the only video card owned...

    Was Eyefinity/Surround a fad?

I don't think it's a fad, but I do think it's temporary. Eyefinity/Surround will exist until the next technology comes out that takes that visual experience to the next level. Be that VR headsets or curved seamless monitors that are functional and consumer friendly or whatever that next phase...

    660ti vs 7950???

If all you play is BF3 on a single 1080p monitor the 660ti is for you. You'll save a few bucks and get more FPS over the 7950. That being said, the 7950 and 600ti trade blows depending on the game. I personally think the 7950 is more future proof considering the 660ti has a 192-bit memory...

    Eyefinity - 6850 - WoW

It's not uncommon to have to troubleshoot or work through issues with either Xfire or Eyefinity. When using both you are increasing your chances of running into problems. Eyefinity users will advise you to go with a powerful single card solution over xfire if possible. IMO a 7950 is the entry...

    [H] users 7950 Overclock Results

Why not waterblock? Silent keep temps far lower than air ever could possibly push your overclock well past 1200 on the core.

7950 Crossfire or Single GTX 680?

Good suggestion on the 670 (over 680) However I would recommend a 7950 over a 7850xfire and use the same strategy you suggested with the 670 (get a second card later to sli/xfire). He could OC that single 7950 in the meantime.

Gigabyte 670 GTX vs. Visiontek 7970

Get either card. They are both good and unless your eyes can tell the difference between 61 and 63 FPS actual gaming performance in virtually indistinguishable. 7970 (non-reference designs) is a better overclocker if you like to push your hardware the 670 is great out of the box and runs...

ASUS Radeon HD 7970 OC $329.98 AR

3 card slot (eek) but overall a good performer. Best price I have seen on it. I would have put this in the deals forum but I am still a n00b here. Almost paid this much for my 7950 MSI Asus 7970 OC I have a feeling these are going to go quick.

    Need advice on video upgrade

Both cards are good. The OC on the Sapphire has no value to me since I would OC past their settings anyway. So I would save a few bucks and get the Asus.

    June and still no 7990?

Whaaa? I bought a 7950 for $320 overlocked the core from 880 to 1020 and memory from 1250 to 1400 MHz. It is performing up there with $400+ cards on stock voltage. I haven't even hit the ceiling on it yet. The card is dayum good.

    Going from a 6870 to a 7950. Should I wait?

I have a question hopefully someone can clear up for me. I have been reading the 12.7 beta drivers allow the 7970 GHz edition to beat out the 680 in several games tests. I have my Twin Frozr 7950 currently at 1020 core and 1400 memory with stock voltage. Is it possible that a 7950 overclocked to...
