a bit confused. If my monitor should support adaptive (gsync) from 40-66 (philips 43”). For VSYNC I should use fast sync correct? So if I exceed 66hz will drop frames but be in Freesync gsync mode 40-66 right?

Have you considered just creating a 21:9 on your 43" and shifting (offset) to bottom of display?

Used a Z9D 75" TV and the grey scale there is perfect. Had zero issues on RCN stream. I think a lot of it is poorly calibrated grey scale.

So getting a 43" Philips at a killer price - hoping the sub pixel does nto bother me. Anyway, was thinking for some applications it would be nice to create say a 38" 21:9 monitor. This would be easy with NVIDIA custom controls, however the "verticial" would be "centered" in the screen with...
