    OC Problems/Multiplier keeps jumping around? 965P-DS3 w/ E6400

Sorry figured it out... I'm dumb, I guess this is a normal occurrance, and those who were getting more than 8x are not using the same hardware as I am.

I'm dumb, sorry can't delete this thread. It was a power saving option and I just didn't realize it. Thanks!

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

Okay, so I get 12.1V on every PCI-E connector, as well as the 4 pin that goes into the motherboard, and I couldnt physically get the multimeter on the 20pin for the motherboard, but I would assume it's fine seeing as the other readings were good... I'm in way over my head right now as far as...

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

I haven't - I don't know how to check the video card. It DID run games perfectly when everything was running well. I just took a screenshot of SpeedFan - the 12V numbers dont look right, but maybe they're not supposed to show 12V? I have no idea when it comes to this stuff, I'm still a newbie...

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

Well it's back again :( I guess I will take it back - how often are power supplies bad? This stinks, because I do have a 500w that came with my case, but its pretty garbage so I never used it - plus it has no PCI-E connectors. So I'll have to go back to the shitty computer until it gets...

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

Well I unplugged everything last night and then plugged it all back in - no change, the wiring is fine. Then i installed the 97.44 drivers for the video card - I haven't had the problem since, but I will wait a bit to see.

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

What is that? Right now it's plugged into the third rail, which is 16A, not using any other connectors or anything, just plugged right into the video card. I didn't really mean to double post here (posted this in video card section already), but since this may be more a power issue this might...

    Corsair 520HX vs Silverstone ST65ZF

I bought a Silverstone 650 zeus based on the FAQ at the top of the board, without really understanding how power supplies work. I've been having problems with my video card not receiving enough voltage, and people have been saying that the power supply probably isn't good enough for the...

    8800GTS voltage problems? Please help!

Rivatuner shows that it goes back to stock, but it somehow makes the card significantly slower than stock - the games run about as bad as my old 2GHz P4 w/ ati radeon 9800.

Reccomendations for a new system please

    Well after you said the 700 was overkill, I had a look at the last powersupply I bought. It's an Enermax Noisetaker 420W, rated at: +12V1 - 18A +12V2 - 18A +5V - 30A 3.3V - 30A -12V - 0.8A I was wondering if this would suffice for now? I checked the power supply calculator...
