Can those changes in HZ's be done without doing changes in the resolution? For example, I am plan on buying '24 1080p 144hz monitor and I would like to play on 1080p with 60hz.

Thanks for the answer. So you can switch to 60hz without a problem? Sorry if this question sounds silly, but I would like to make sure because I can't change my HZ on old 60hz monitor.

playing in 60hz on 120/144hz monitor

Hello. I would like to ask whether playing in 60hz on 120/144hz monitor is any different than playing in 60hz on 60hz monitor? That's important thing because I plan to connect a PS3 to a monitor and PS3 games work in 60hz. Looking forward to read your opinions.
