Your still gonna pay nearly 400 or more to get the card to your house, which is 100 dollars more than I paid for my gto2, and quite frankly 10-15 more frames in HL2 isn't worth those extra bones. Besides it's more fun modding it anyways; and isn't that what it's all about? :D

I get 5300 with my x8ooxl so ya, somethings wrong.

I have the x800xl and my x800gto2 will be here today by 4:30pm ;) Had the xl since they were 1st released, it is a damn fine card. I get 74,501 in Aquamark3 at default speeds but the gto2 overclocks madly right out out of the box from the reviews i've read. Not to mention the internet claims...
