I would get out of that 775 rig while you can still get some decent money for it. You can get a nice IB setup that will run every game just as well and save you some power/heat.

Are you running a chip with on die graphics/memory controller such as sandy bridge? If so, don't forget that it can act as a 'heatsink' of sorts for the 2 nearest cores. In theory, increasing their respective surface areas...
I agree completely, the SSD is an 'ok' price at best for Retail Edge especially considering the huge drop in prices of late. I have like all the $99 cpu's of past and really expected this deal to be a $99 IB k series, but that will have to wait until Holiday Deal. A dream deal would have been...
