I bought my Wii U last year right after launch and love it. My 5 year old daughter is just now starting to learn how to play some of the easier party games and I cannot wait until she gets to where she can start playing games with me. If you are a Nintendo fan, it's definitely worth it.
I think the game plays a lot smoother now with the new update...but they really screwed up the gameplay. I guess all the people that were bitching that the planes and choppers were not strong enough got their wish. Every air map I have played on since the new update has been a real cluster. At...
As far as premo cards, I was just referring to the people that can hit the 1125/1525 overclock on stock volts. Thats a 20% overclock and some can do it at stock and some cant. Its really luck of the draw. I like my reference card as it blows the hot air out the back of my case. The XFX Oc card...
I came from a 6950 Crossfired setup to my Diamond 7970 and so far it's been great. The decision for me was pretty easy as I really didn't like the noise or heat from the crossfire setup and the one card solution is a better fit for me. BF3 has played a lot smoother for me and the performance has...
I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones as I can't get mine Diamond 7970 to run at 1125/1525 at stock volts. The temps are max at 75 C under load, but after a while I start to get some artifacts. I've been testing in both BF3 and the Heaven benchmark. I upped the voltage to 1.87 using Trixx and it...
What would be a decent score for a 7970 overclocked to 1125/1525 on stock volts running on a i7 920 at 3.8GHZ and 12GB of RAM? I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff and I'm just trying to see how my card compares to what others may be getting.
Well I joined the crowd...in for a Diamond 7970. Can't wait to see what this thing does. Thanks to everyone for making this an entertaining thread all day. Definitely made the work day go by fast.
Looks like Newegg only has the Diamond cards still available. I see they have a 5 year warranty. Is it worth it to pick one up at this point or just wait for one of the bigger name brands to come back in stock? I know it's a reference card and that it shouldn't matter....but any input would be...
I have the Sapphire 6950 Flex card with 4 monitors hooked up to it (3 for Eyefinity + 1 for my desk). You should be able to connect all 3 monitors with this card with no issues. I believe the Flex cards are the only cards right now that will allow you to connect 3 monitors via DVI out of the...
I'm having some issues I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm trying to set up my triple screen monitors on my Obutto gaming cockpit and then create a separate grouping for my monitor at my desk. I'm using a Sapphire 6950 Flex card and all 4 monitors are working. I can get the 3X1 setup just...
The load temps are not crazy out of whack, but I think your core voltages are definitely too high for that small of an overclock. Have you tried bumping down your core voltage to see if the temps come down without affecting stability? Also, are you running with HT on or off?
I would imagine...
I would suggest waiting on the next gen if your current setup works for you.
I went the Crossfire route earlier this year with my original 5870 and I can tell you that the heat increase is definitely noticeable. Even with good airflow in your case, you are certainly going to deal with heat...
