That's just ridiculous. Nvidia's graphics card prices are out of control. For the price of the 2080 Ti, you can get a nice PC all on its own with a mid range graphics card.
One of the reasons for the increase in price is the fact that Micron is producing automotive-grade LPDDR & GDDR memory for autonomous/all electric vehicles which are about to explode exponentially - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/micron-mu-powerful-self-driving-230911138.html
"Inconsistent supplier" - That is due to Intel's anti-competitive practices back in the day by providing "rebates" to keep customers loyal to Intel by locking AMD out of lucrative customers. I really hope the EU court rules against Intel next year and crushes them with the $1billion fine.
Talk about nickel & diming, now you gotta fork over more money to "unlock" certain raid configurations ... wow. Linus just destroyed Intel in this video and yet AMD is coming in with a kidney shot with their 64 pcie lanes support on all their X399 chips XD. God I can't wait for...
Either way AMD's stock took another hit. Got nothing to prop up the stock until end of June. Yeah they will reveal Vega at Computex but release won't be til end of June next to Epyc.
Damn this shit is spreading like wildfire. I'm all for keeping the government in check with wikileaks but they have to be careful in what they leak. Some things that are highly disruptive could instead be leaked via articles instead of the actual programs.
