Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
No go on the 587. All around fail here. Just need to upgrade to Biz Class if I want to run a mail server. POP3 is basically junk anyways, but I just thought I'd give it a shot since some of my clients are still using that. Thanks for all the help and input everyone.
Yeah Port 80 incoming is open. I've been running a web server for years...port 25 is another story as is with most ISP's, you are right. I just wanted someone on here to verify that. I've probably been violating the ISP terms of service forever...oh well, I've never received any warnings. Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I'm currently attempting to setup a simple pop mail server at my house using Win Server 2k3 R2. I only have a Time Warner Residential connection, and am having problems with the mail server connection. When I run a report via dnsstuff.com everything checks out as far as A records...
Reset it back to the defaults, and booted. Prime95 reported 6 cores. I then redid the overclock and after the reboot, Prime95 also reported 6 cores. I guess I just had to reset and do the overclock again. And OFaceSIG, I read that the Asus TurboEVO software used for overclocking on this board is...
Ok, I'm running a Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz on a Asus M4A89GTD Pro board using the software that comes with the board to overclock (everything else is in my sig). Everything was working pretty good at 3.9ghz for a couple weeks. Then after a reboot I noticed on the BIOS logo...
I think the reason the memtest wasn't working was because I was trying to use the 3.5 which doesn't work with 4GB of ram. I need to try 3.4 when I get home. I'll let you know what happens. Don't you think if it was a memory issue it would have failed the MS memory test? I'm not sure how well...
I'm having a weird issue with a new computer I just built for a friend. He is going to mostly be using this to record audio using Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, and Audicity. After building the computer and installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64 everything seemed like it was working great for me, and...
Title says it. I'm looking for an older Western Digital WD6400AALS Caviar Black because I'm having issues with RAID5 and my firmware. I have three of these already, and ordered a fourth, but the firmware is newer causing RAID dropouts...
Manufactured date needs to probably be early 2009. Thanks!
I'm running a Supermicro X7SBE with an onboard Intel ICH8R/9R/10R RAID controller with volume write-back cache enabled. I previously was running 3x640GB WD Caviar Black drives in RAID 5 flawlessly, with no issues. I recently added a fourth 640GB drive and deleted the entire array and recreated...
Ok, so it still doesn't work with the IE6 hacks in there. Here is the css for my IE6 css. Does anyone know what I can change to make the menu work?
.menu ul li a.hide, .menu ul li a:visited.hide {display:none;}
.menu ul li a:hover ul li a.hide {display:none;}
.menu ul li a:hover...
Well see I already have some IE6 CSS hacks in there. I'm not the one who made the initial menu, so it's supposed to work with IE6, but it doesn't. It's supposed to load a separate CSS file when it's IE6, but it still looks ridiculous even with that stuff in there. The menu is just on the left...
