Same thing here. It took a couple of days to get the keys after paying but they came and worked great. OP should be fixed to update the correct price of $12 so people aren't surprised.

I grabbed a 5800X from Amazon, still hasn't shipped and it says my delivery date is Jan. 3rd which worries me. I wish I had been able to find a 5900x just for the extra cores for longevity. Excited to finally upgrade from my 2700k!

A simple DVI to DisplayPort adapter is all you need or you can buy a cable with DVI on one end and DP on the other. Monitor will work fine, no need to upgrade.

My 2700k and I cry. I'm still going to try though. 1440p and I don't see big CPU usage spikes.

After all the driver issues my buddy had with his 5700XT and drivers causing things to crash, I'll continue to stick with Team Green and pay the premium.
