Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I concur. Granted Newegg would have been better off not using the term "demo unit" to describe the obvious "fake" cpu. However in the end it certainly appears that they are taking care of all affected customers.

1) No UL # - check
2) 600W peak w/ 30A combined - check
3) Massive +5V rail - check
4) SLI certified? doubtful
I'm the SuperFlower will work, but I wouldn't trust that old inefficient dinosaur in my rig. ;)
The free shipping time is an estimate. It all boils down to how far you are from one of their warehouses. I typically receive my orders within 2-3 days.
I agree. However the good news is that there always seems to be a MIR available, and it just so happens that Provantage is selling them for $110 AR (+shipping).
Fixed. ;) Buy.com has it for $90 shipped.
No. Stay away from standby UPS'es (read more) and stick with a line-interactive unit. If I had $100 to spend on a UPS then I would consider the CyberPower 850AVRLCD.
According to your screen shot the 5V rail is out of ATX spec, so I wouldn't consider those software voltage readings solid or accurate. Please test the rails with a DMM and report back with your results.
So far there are 3 revisions of the two PCIe cables that are available for the HX520/620.
1. each with a single 6-pin PCIe
2. each with a single 6+2-pin PCIe
3. each with a single 6-pin PCIe & 6+2-pin PCIe (shown below)
My HX520 shipped with option 1, and I emailed RAMGUY...
One of the many reasons it's a good idea to make photocopies of all materials before sending the originals. Hopefully the BFG rep will pull some strings. ;)
1) The missing pin is the -5V lead which was removed from the ATX spec several years ago. It was mainly used for powering old ISA cards and some motherboards with onboard "amplified" sound.
2) You can test your psu by leaving only a fan, HDD, or other device connected and inserting a...
It sounds like you're relying on one of those psu calcs. ;) My rough estimate would be closer to a 275-325W (depending on CPU o'c) load at the wall running Prime95 on all 4 cores, 3DM06 looping, and copying data across all drives.
