Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Will be interesting to see how it faires against the Samsungs SM961 (which is imho the smarter pick than the 950 Pro). Prices seem to be almost identical: SM961 = 198€ vs 600P = 197€.
I aswell am still on the fence about the i7-6700K vs i7-6700 topic. I was already leaning towards the 65W chip... until I've read this review of the i7-6700. This review indicates that the i7-6700K will only use ~5 Watts more power under heavy load than the i7-6700. Therefor undervolting the...
I guess a bit of a headroom is good for your peace of mind. But I always cringe when I read some people's recommendations to have double the amount of power that your system draws at your disposal so that your PSU runs at that magical (hint: it's not) 50% load.
Imho the Corsair SF 450 would be...
What motherboard do you guys plan to use in your A4-SFX?
I might wait for Kaby Lake... But if I were to choose now, I'd probably pick the ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac.
It shows the average variation (difference) of the idle/load temperatures
using the CPU & GPU on an open benchtable (no case)
vs
using them in the A4-SFX.
So the CPU/GPU got on average 3,5/2,5°C warmer inside the A4-SFX under load than during tests on an open...
You made me ctrl+f search through the reviews on newegg and here are my results:
1080 FTW: 141 reviews & 5 believable reports of coil whine
1080 SC: 98 & 3
1070 FTW: 94 & 6
1070 SC: 147 & 7
Some of them might be due to low quality PSUs as well.
Feel free to make of that what you will.
