I've used my OG Ally Z1E plenty since 2024. Decided to upgrade for the ergonomics, Z2E is not a generational leap but it'll give you maybe 10 more frames? The UI update is very nice though when using it for gaming. It's a great couch gaming device, that's how I use it.

I played Pantheon a lot in EA but it just got worse and worse over time, population finally took a huge nosedive and has not recovered. <500 at pretty much all times at this point.

I hope it does better, Pantheon is DOA.

I was thinking about pulling the trigger on the Xbox X or the Legion Go 2, only to find out both are completely sold out of pre-orders. I love my original Ally but I'd like the ergonomics of the new one or the OLED display of the Go 2. As far as the GPD/Onexfly type devices, I don't know. Kinda...

I guess but also like...no other games really come to mind that actually do what you're asking. This game has GOTY potential for me based on how much I liked the first one, probably end up being between this and the Elden Ring Erdtree expansion. Feeling like a good year.

same shit going on with Helldivers 2. it's funny that we've come so far and yet this seems to happen with so many games when they launch. i've had this game for like 2 years and played without issue, launches, doesn't work, no interest in playing anymore.

on a JRPG kick lately, just finished Persona 3 Reload over the weekend. 92 hours in 14 days, the last game I played that long / quickly was Elden Ring. Dunno why, but the game was just fun and flowed well for me.

Most people have given up on MMO's. The market is so small for a hardcore PVE centric MMO like Pantheon. I really want that game to succeed but lord knows at this point. Even if it does come out, I struggle with the thought of being able to participate in a way that isn't just purely casual...

Can't wait until we go full circle and see a mass influx of people start resubscribing to cable because their packages end up cheaper than the piecemealed streaming networks.
