Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I do something similar using an APC remote-switched PDU. I control the turning on/off of some physical machines and JBODs using Eventghost. If I want to switch on a server with a JBOD attached it would send an SNMP command to the PDU to switch on the socket with the JBOD attached, wait 30...
Have you tried clicking the "free version" link on this page: http://www.5nine.com/5nine-hyper-v-cloud-vMonitor.aspx? It asks for a login when I click it and I don't want to sign up just to see if it's there or not.
I picked up a Startech SV831HDGB from eBay pretty cheap. The config is managed from a webpage and you connect to the servers using VNC. Startech support was very good on the one occassion I've had to call them, I bought it used and it came with no rackmount ears, called Startech and they sent me...
I use a Startech SV841HDIEGB DKVM and 1U 17" IBM Keyboard/LCD drawer. The Keyboard/LCD connect to the DKVM for local access and I can use VNC to connect to the DKVM over the network for remote access (this includes BIOS-level access.)
Within Network and Sharing Center, under View your active networks you can click on the network type and change it from Public network to Work/Home network.
He is having stability issues streaming live/recorded TV between MediaPortal & XBMC on 2 physical machines, he isn't using ESXi. I'm not that far along with my setup so haven't been able to test it yet. I've had no issues so far with ESXi, it happily passes through my DVB-S2 card, LSI 9200-8E...
The VM is running Windows 7 at the moment with MediaPortal as the TV server (may change this to a Linux OS as a friend is having real troubles with MediaPortal at the moment.) The MediaPortal server then broadcasts to MediaPortal client/XBMC installed on PC's on my LAN. At the moment I'm trying...
I've passed through a TBS 6984 Quad DVB-S2 tuner to a Windows 7 VM on ESXi5. The underlying hardware is an MSI 970FX motherboard with an Athlon X2 250 CPU. The card is seen by MediaPortal exactly as it was when it was running on the same physical hardware using just Windows 7.
I also want to...
I managed to reflash the latest version of the LSI 9240-8i firmware eventually. I'm not 100% sure whether it was something I did or blind luck. I tried various combinations of MegaRec, MegaCLI (just got a flashing cursor) and SA2Flash (couldn't find an LSI adaptor.) Various combinations of...
I have sccessfully upgraded the firmware on my M1015 card to various IBM and LSI (9240-81) firmwares without issue before today but I tried the steps listed on the UnRaid forum to flash my M1015 to a 9210-8i and the process failed. The first two steps worked fine (backing up my SBR and writing a...
