I agree 100%, as I stated in my OP it would be a nice to have, not a need to have, otherwise I would have bought an X4 :) I have now decided to see how high this X2 can clock up to, thus far 3.8 Ghz with 1.375 vCore seems to be stable, I hope to see 4 Ghz...
I am not sure which batch I have, I should have checked before I re-applied my HSF. I think it is a CPMW.
I tried to bring up the NB VID to 1.35v, and it loads Windows as long as I clock it down to 1.6 Ghz, otherwise I get a checksum error upon loading Windows.
