Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I didn't need the driver yet, just saved it in case some time ago. But I believe it's the one you're looking for.
for blurays I run it on 96 Hz in 1920x1080 which is within the safe limits.
I just bought a FW900 on ebay, this is my 3rd one. hopefully in perfect condition this time :)
You are right. I once messed around with partitions and almost lost data. The computer hung while Partition Magic did some operation, but I managed to repair it with "Testdisk", nice little program.
Now I always make backups and if I need a partition for linux testing or something, hell, I take...
I had the "Check Bus line and connection!" error too but it worked after a reboot (with the cable still plugged in) so it can also be a issue with the converter. if possible use a rs232 device for testing.
I would temporarily move the monitor or the PC and try without the second VGA cable.
Make sure that every connector is screwed really tight. What helped in my case was to use the other DVI on the videocard and a different DVI-VGA Adapter.
My experience on the matter is:
- Streaking is a matter...
1536 x 960 @120 Hz is a neat resolution. Horizontal Scanning Frequency Required (With Estimated Retrace) is 118.2 KHz, the monitor allows 121 KHz in theory.
Please tell us about your results with the nvidia 3D vision :)
This is a box that supports 1080p/72Hz but it costs $335 ...
hm well that doesn't quite answer the question, because HDFury can deal with the copy protection. Is it the only way to connect a PS3 to the FW900 ?
I have bad news: another FW900 in this world is doomed. My X-Ray apparatus showed the ticking-out-of-focus issue for the first time. Then there...
Thanks for this great discussion. I've come to appreciate my FW900 even more now
For office work I have two LCDs but I'd never watch a movie or play Quake3 on them.
However, I'll consider a NEC SpectraView 2490 if it dropped to ~250€ prices on ebay.
Hi folks,
background story:
I have two 250 GB ATA Harddisks from Western Digital (WD2500JB and WB2500BB) and I don't know if they are working properly. They were running in a RAID0 and when the volume started to behave strangely (rebuildings, clicking noises), I wiped the whole thing...
You find the .dll files on your hard disk once you've installed astro.exe etc. just follow the instructions of greguas install website closely. The Installier files are on this fileserver http://www.ablserv.com/files/windas/
The files alone maybe won't help so just stick with the tutorial.
I use the previous version of Nvidias 3D technology which works up to Geforce 7xxx with Elsa Revelator Shutterglasses. I tested Counter-Strike 1.6, Trackmania and Half-Life2 and some short amateur movies. It is hard to describe but it's definitely a nice effect.
Major drawback is the ghosting...
Hello. I have the Roccat Kone mouse and well it's ok. It's hard to judge because I had no other optical mouse than a Logitech MX300 so far. The MX300 was wonderful, but I got the feeling that it may be outdated so just like you I started browsing for tests etc.
Point one, I expected that the...
Tapes are a good when you want to archive large quantities of data, in addition to your usual data storage. If you have the equipment, why not use it?
I have a LTO1 drive and buy tapes now and then when they're cheap on ebay, but I wouldn't keep data on tape only. They are about as or more...
light is lethal ;) at least for a good black level.
Well, we already discussed that it doesn't make sense to photograph the monitor for a demonstration of its quality.
However, I made these pictures and couldn't resist:

Although I have the screen for...
Hi folks, maybe you can help me.
I had to update my video driver (Nvidia GF 7900 GTX) it comes with a new control panel and it does not have the option "use doublescan for low resolutions (CRT)" anymore. There is no way of changing the control panel to the old one, this I already tried for...
