I was always under the impression that the pagefile is dynamic and if the system doesnt need it, it will remain very small and unfetched. It's only when you run out of ram do you need a pagefile.

I had this same problem. I had 2 560 ti's @ 1gb and was running into fps issues. Sold both of them and got the 2gb version instead and problems all went away.

Even if it does sag, so long as the contacts are hitting the receiving end properly, I dont think it would affect anything. 2c
