Best video card to match with an Athlon 1.4 for BF2

I'm holding off on a completely new build for a while. What's the best bang for the buck card to couple with an Athlon 1.4 to play BF2? 9500 Pro? Or would the 1.4 be fast enough to take advantage of a 9800 Pro?

Quick Quick question, comparing two cards?

The 9600 Pro spanks the 5200 really hard. The extra RAM on the 5200 is an absolute waste (marketing gimmick), as it is way too slow to utilize it.

    Best Upgrade from 9700 Pro

The x800xl seems to be slightly faster than the 800 pro (3-5% maybe?) in everything.

KM switch for Logitech Wireless combo?

I just built a second rig that will be strictly for gaming, but I am keeping my old box for surfing, video coding, etc. I currently have my old box hooked to my 2005fpw via VGA and my new box hooked up via DVI. I can switch between the two very easily with the input selector on the monitor. I...

    Dell 2005fpw $471 or 2001fp $509 and 1905fp $345

WoW supports 1680x1050 and most people who are playing it on the 2005fpw are saying they'll never go back to 4:3 gaming again. Check the displays forum for a lot of good threads about widescreen gaming on the 2005fpw, specifically WoW and HL2. Just make sure your video card hasa little muscle...

    External HD

Can I get some recommendations for some good "bang for the buck" external enclosures with both USB 2.0 and firewire support? It seems I can put one together for much cheaper than the retail externals. I just don't want to get stuck with a crappy enclosure... Thanks in advance

Dell 2005fpw is back! $486.85 shipped!!

I think the way it works is if the retailer has a warehouse in your state, you get charged tax. Newegg used to be tax-free, now they charge tax to NJ because they opened a distribution center somewhere in Jersey.

Differences between the 36GB and 74GB Raptors

Other than the obvious size difference, are there any advantages of getting the 74GB Raptor? I'm putting together a new system that will strictly be used for gaming and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to fit everything I need on the 37GB drive. Any help is greatly appreciated.
