I was able to get a stable boot of 4.0ghz on my i5 with 1.376 (CPU) but my IBT stress test temps were too high so I backed down. I'm not willing to spend more $$ on a "better" HSF at this time (currently using Thermaltake Silent 1156 CLP0552) so I'll have to be happy with a stable & cool 3.7hgz...
Yeah, I tried your settings exactly, including RAM voltage and vdroop, and my temps shot up to over 90 C almost as soon as IBT started. I stopped the test at 95.
Maybe my HSF is bad or I did a poor job seating the HSF onto the chip.
For whatever reason, my system runs a lot cooler with vdroop set to high. I ended up going back to the 3.7 settings in my last post and passed IBT maximum with max temps of 74/71/72/74. When I tried the same settings with vdroop at high, I passed 85 degrees in a matter of 30 seconds...
I'm using a Thermaltake Silent 1156 CLP0552 for cooling. The memory is dual channel if that makes a difference in the voltage?

That did it. I set CAS to 8-8-8-24 and upped DRAM voltage to 1.590. DRAM (ratio 4) is at 1440. I increased to 180x20 for 3.600. Ran IntelBurn 5x Standard and it passed. Temps were 73/72/70/72... does that seem to high for what I'm at? Other voltages still at (CPU) 1.350 and 1.206 (VTT)...

If you mean running >1600 mhz, it's not. I believe it's one step below that actually. BIOS does show the ram as running at 7-7-7-22 (even though it's rated 8-8-8-24). Could that be a problem?

Ok, I flashed the BIOS to 1.6 and I get CMOS CHECKSUM BAD when I boot. I can F1 into setup and then exit to windows, but I'd like to fix this so I don't have to do that everytime I boot the computer.
