Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm trying to avoid the hassle of doing a full system upgrade (yet again), but I'm finding i need 4 cores. HOWEVER, I also need the 4.2+ghz clockspeed that my current E8500 gives me for gaming applications.
I've got a board with NForce 780i chipset.. What are the odds I would hit 4.2ghz on...
not nearly as nice as what some of you have.. but here goes...
Old setup with Telex EV SonicXS 2.1
New setup: Mackie MR5s, Razer Barracuda AC-1 (need to upgrade soon), Roland MT-32 (for some dosbox action)
Good point - I hadn't considered that. That thing never gets that hot, unless when I'm compiling a huge project in Xcode.
Yeah, that's a 3" USB hub from Belkin. Keep in mind, the packaging says 3" all over it, but it requires a 2.5" hole to fit snug. Ask me how i know. Lots of holesaw...
Thanks. Yep thats the stand. A bit pricey for two padded blocks of MDF and two aluminum rods - but its still the cheapest. One SLIGHT complaint though.. notice that the logo is upside down.. if you have it the other way, the blocks on the bottom will keep you from plugging the power cable...
The power of countless hours spent browsing Craigslist :)
Thanks for the kind words. The monitors took forever to track down - especially the 2007FPs. I seem to have gone through a bad batch of them.
I have wasted an unholy amount of time browsing this thread..
In any case, i figure i'd post a few teaser pics of my humble setup. Sorry for the crappy picture quality and the dusty screens.
I had a closet full of junk. Got rid of the junk, and was wondering what to do with an empty closet...
