    so, to repeat the mantra of the ages: "RAID is NOT BACKUP!!!!!" now that we've gotten that out of the way, the migration path that'd i'd recommend would be RAID 1 and yes, you could create that RAID set using the current setup you've got right now. cheers, dave

    HP has a utility (gotta find it....but you can prolly just google it) that formats your USB stick as a bootable drive. I use it for systems @ work when I need something quickly done. dave

    Qnap is a little bit beyond your price range, but, they're very decent units as well. Intel has a decent NAS box as well but again, it's about 450.00 or so. erfffff.....nothing beats a Celerra. :) dave
