Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Because in the end I was a little too worried about bad performance. I guess now it is not a big deal.
However the discussion here made me consider a normal non x-flow rad and that improved the layout! So it was already worth.
Thank you guys.
Thank you guys for the replys.
It might be worth to mention that this is going to be a scratch build and that the components will be mounted vertically on a black or smoked acrylic pannel. The grafics card will be mounted flat by using a PCI-E extender and in order to show the water block. The...

Hi ZoNe,
Yeah I've been on Martin's site in the beginning of this project but forgot about it. I also visited skinneelabs.com quite often.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with a D5-Vario with an EK X-Top and an EK X-Rex 150 basic. The XSPC Acrylic tank sucks too much air bubbles imho.
I'm...
@ peezda, glad I could help.
I thought of something: would it be possible to mod the top cover of the Arc Mini in order to fit our 120mm fans outside of the metal frame of the case but below that removable top cover?
That would be hugely awesome as we could fit a massive 50mm thick rad on...
@ ZoNe
thank you for your advice. This is exactly the kind of input I'm looking for!
thank you also for:
I'm very very astonished you tell the Laing D5 isn't quiet operating. I've got the D5-Vario in mind now (it's not shown on the scheme) and I'll be using some insulation/dampening...

thank you also for the delta-t explanation, it makes all sense now.
Other considerations from anyone around?
Cheers
Hi to all [H]ard|Coolers around !
As you may see, this is my first post here, and yes, I’m new to the business of water cooling. I’ve never ever built a rig nor have I seen one live in front of me.
All I know up to now, is from reading and watching YouTube footages.
My reference...
