Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Well all you really need is just a linux install disk/usb drive, go to the server, pop it in and reboot and hit enter a bunch of times. It wipes the drive and installs linux.
I am going to go against the stream and say that the tech behind this could be really useful. And the whole concept, if taken further, could be a fun and interesting game.
For instance, what if they took this technology and applied it to Myst III story-line? That could actually be a really...
I checked power management, It shows that I am in the performance settings in the bios and have sleep mode off. In fact I turned screen sleep off just so it would not change anything if I leave it for an hour.
I did however manage to get it to go to 5k ppd. I am running it in xp compatibility...
not very good but also not as bad as the report may seem. Looking at the 8k SEC filing as of the 22nd (today) they took a write-down under Cost and Expenses of 9.2, under the heading "Impairment of goodwill and purchased intangible assets". To undo MBA speak, they basically wrote down some...
Dear [H]ard folders
I am writing you from the mystical past when 3k ppd was "good".
Truth be told, my system is an AMD A8-3850 APU on an Asus F1A75-V Pro. My current setup is pictured below:
I get about 3.5k ppd running both CPU and on die GPU (integrated graphics). When I shut...
script writers - the people who brought you "jumping the shark", the plot of Lost and the well crafted dialog of movies like Star Wars Episode 3.
Seriously, this is just some writers off day when he just makes stuff up and the only people reading the lines before it airs is the actors.
Their main problem, and the reason why I only value it at about $5 a share is that they are no longer a growth company. They have become as big as they can get. They also have terrible earnings of $0.19 per share. But at current prices of $13 a share that means they are at 70 times earnings...
I see one of two things happening here.
1) A foreign company bought on-live but is specifically prevented from making it a wholly owned subsidiary. This means they have to create a holding company in the US to hold the ownership and still be in control. I would expect a company like Nexus to...
did a bit more fiddleing to limit to only the CPU side and it folds at 1100 ppd with all 4 cpu cores maxed and the GPU core zeroed.
when I zero the CPU (right now its only functioning at 26%) my GPU computing is going at 2900 ppd.
I am so cool i can complete work units with 0 ppd while it is running. Or it is just that my processor is bad, it is only an A8 3850, which surprisingly only does 3600 ppd according to the dashboard.
My current theories are that the APU architecture does not like folding. Or it is being...
Well i tend to think the taxation would happen at national level anyway for countries in the EU. Each state would like to protect their ISP or content providers and issue a levy tax on US companies doing business there. Its protectionism and history states that protectionism does not end well.
