HDCP source with your Dell 2405?
I am wondering if anyone has tried hi def content from a source (a set top box, etc) that has HDCP implemented. It shouldn't "work" but I am wondering if indeed it does, and if it doesn't, what happens... just a blank screen? Thanks!- Dark Helmet

Dell 2405FPW vs Apple 23" Cinema Display?
I use an Apple PowerBook, so I looked at the Apple Cinema displays first... go read the Apple user forums (under the Support tab at Apple.com)... many owners of the 23" are simply livid with the off color panels they have (persistant yellowis/pinkish tinge at the edges) and Apple won't do much...- Dark Helmet

(one more) Dell 2405 thread - is it a 6 bit or 8 bit planel?
All, I know the color spec at 16.7 million would 'strongly imply' this is an 8 bit panel, but its speed (and some of the chatter about washed out colors) make me think its a 6 bit. I have searched this forum, others in similar vein, and even downloaded from Dell's website the user manual...- Dark Helmet
