Ok, so someone on another forums suggested that I use the release driver for the 7970, RC11 for crossfire and eyefinity. I did that, and it fixed every game. After trying all of that s**t, it was the $!@&&$ driver, lol. Oh well, got it fixed. Thanks to all who chimed in on the thread
I'm using afterburner for fan speed, a more aggressive profile than standard auto. Both GPU and VRM temps are generally staying below 70c according to afterburner monitoring. I think I've seen VRM hit like 73c at max. I've got plenty of airflow in the case. 1 front 230mm fan, 1 side 230mm fan...
I've tried 3 different bridges, and switching the location of the bridges.
Spacing is good, about two inches between the two cards. Temps are generally staying below 65c but will sometimes creep to just below 70c.
