I just installed it and for some reason when I shut down my computer it still triggers the LEDs on my headset and the LEDs on my motherboard stay active as well. Well the U9S is the newer product... I doubt it will have a huge impact on performance... It is really up to you. I think the 2 fan set up will most likely provide better temps, but you could always order a second fan for the u9s and then that would win the temp competition.- Daniel Minzi
