It's not 8kx2k, pixel count is roughly "6K". Its one of the reasons I don't like designations like that. They are inaccurate. Call it pedantic if you like but I'm technically correct, which is the best kind of correct. To answer the question more specifically, no. It doesn't automatically do...

Monitor doesn't do 8K.

The G502X is just an update of the same basic design. They feel almost the same in the hand. It looks a little different cosmetically and uses a USB-C port to charge instead of micro-USB. I don't think it's worth the cost to upgrade personally.

It's called risk management. EA has a lot of debt and doesn't have the cash to waste on games and studios that aren't likely to do well. BioWare has a track record of financial disappointment going back over a decade. Given the people working on the game, EA obviously didn't have the confidence...

I've got 32GB in my 5070 Ti based laptop. I have 48GB in my desktop with a 5090. I have two older machines, I believe those have 16GB. One's got a 3090, the other has a 2080 Super. One of those is a 3950X and the other is a 3900X.

Out of the original main TOS cast, only George Takai and William Shatner are left. Out of the TNG cast, Stewart was the first to go. However, as he was the oldest that's pretty much expected.

That's what I mean by unfair comparisons. People compare the Andromeda characters to the entirety of the Mass Effect trilogy. In fairness, the characters in Andromeda should be compared to the ones in Mass Effect 1. On that front, I don't think it fares as badly as people say it does. Sure...

Well, Andromeda was a step up graphically and the combat was another high point for it. Story and character wise it was a step back. Though some of the characters don't get the credit they deserve, and I think Andromeda does get unfairly compared to the trilogy in this respect. I also think the...

Peter Cullen, Sam Neill, Tim Curry, Michael Forest, Walter Koenig, and Patrick Stewart just to name a few. And that's limiting things to sci-fi actors. Multiple losses for kids of the 80's and earlier like myself, but three losses to Star Trek specifically. For those who don't remember, Michael...

Whether the writing was simply bad or people hated the lesbian stuff, doesn't really matter. The perception is that the game was woke and pushing the alphabet mafia agenda. The simple perception that is woke is as good as it being woke. Either way, it was less successful because of the backlash...

I can live with that.

While business strategies, game mechanics etc. are massive components that can absolutely make or break a game or kill studios, I think denying that woke kills games is just copium. The fact is, many of these titles are made worse by the hiring decisions behind the scenes. Having the wrong...

Yes it is. I had a great aunt struggle with Alzheimer's. I watched my ex's grandfather struggle with dementia for a decade. Lastly, a friend of mine's grandmother (who I knew for years) went through it. It's pretty rough to watch.

I saved a couple things, but most of it I have tossed. I threw away a ton of stuff when I downsized houses especially. I do have my old Skulltrail and Pentium Pro dually setups, a lot of CPUs of different areas. Lastly, I think I have both of my old Titan X's I used to run in SLI.

You guys that are into vintage hardware would likely be sickened by the amount of it I've thrown away over the years.
