Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I dual booted fBSD and Windows for a long time using a single HD. The way I did it was install Windows first leaving plenty of unallocated space on the drive. Once that was done, install FreeBSD on that unallocated space, but make sure to choose the "FreeBSD boot manager" during the...
I'd combine the 1GHz machine w/ 80 gig HD into a main server (web, file, and print) and setup the 366 w/ 4 gig HD as a headless firewall/router.

Alternatively, you could install Nautilus -- Gnome's file manager.
DISCLAIMER:
I'm just a FreeBSD user that installs everything from source using its Ports Collection, so I won't even attempt to try and explain how to install either one of those...
I'd still buy one, 3-4 years is a long time. What do you expect, for everyone to wait until 2007?
Your machines are not obsolete, but if you want to get technical you could say they were obsolete the moment you bought them. Just the nature of the industry, PC or Mac. Hell, I guess my car is...
From that same article,
It's also very clear that MySQL and other server apps are not developed with OS X in mind first. Hell, for years it was recommended that you compile MySQL with linuxthreads on FreeBSD for better performance.
Think of them as Storm Troopers named Fedora, SuSE, Mandrake, Ubuntu, etc sharing the same DNA, but having different personalities.
OK, so maybe that's a totally lame analogy, but you get the picture because "Linux" is just a kernel.
Yup.
It appears that Microsoft has in fact asked the community sites to remove all screenshots of Longhorn build 5048.
