Those are some awesome overclocks! If I were to want to raise/lower the fan speed, would I have to run a program in the background to do so?

That's great to know! My 4870x2 should be here around Wednesday. Should I overclock my CPU/GPU or leave the settings at stock? BTW, I won't be running benches.

The 4850 is an awesome card even on my current 939 x2 rig. I'm going to have to put it to rest as soon as the parts come in though.

A 2.8Ghz Phenom II 920 needs an overclock to not bottleneck a 4870x2 @ 1900x1200 res/max settings?

I ended up going with the 4870x2 2GB. I also replaced the Seagate 250GB hard drive with the Western Digital 640GB 16MB HDD. Thanks for the input folks. Build is complete!

I guess I needed folks to remind me that having the bigger e-p3nis just isn't worth it at times? I'll be gaming at 1900x1200/max settings.

Actually, I purchased the CPU and motherboard off of Newegg. It was 259.99 for the combo. I really want the GTX 295 since it's suppose to be the top dog but considering that I can purchase the x2 for about 420 buck AR, I don't see why I would purchase a GTX 295 for 500 when it has less video ram...
