Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Definitely not a gimmick. I used to use heavy weights in my G500. I got a new G500S for Christmas and decided to go light weights. It is a lot better and I can play games for longer periods of time.
I run 2 GTX 760's in SLI on a Corsair HX850. I have my I7 4770K overclocked to 4.5GHZ as well. Plenty of power. You don't need a 1000 watt PSU unless your pc is packed with 10 fans a watercooling system and 5 hard drives.
BenQ XL2720T is the best monitor I have owned. I run 2 ASUS 22 inch 120hz on the sides. There is no comparison.
The image quality on the BenQ XL2720T is sweet. Very sharp. Images look great. I have read don't use it for Photoshop. I do without issue.
It is all how you set it up and...
What he said. I have been using Corsair for years. Before that PC Power Cooling PSU's. I only get the best. If you don't you will have issues sooner then later.
I am running an I7 4770K @ 4.5GHZ with Corsair Vengeance 2400 16GB in the XMP profile with no issues. I have not even tried to push the 4770K past 4.5GHZ yet. Totally stable. You need to buy top quality RAM.
The Corsair PSU's are some of the best out there. I had an HX650 fail on me a while back because the sticker that was on the middle of the fan came off and jammed the fan.
I currently have an HX850 and it is silent. I would contact Corsair support and ask them about the fan. That 1050 is...
When the SSD's first came out, most of the research I did said to not use more then 50% of the drive. You can probably push that a bit. I just purchased two Corsair Neutron GTX's and have them in RAID 0. These things fly. I have a 10k raptor for everything else.
The Sabertooth Z87 is great.
The assist fans whine a bit so I just turn them off in the bios. The thing is you can't disable them entirely. Leave them enabled and change the fan to off. The assist fans will come on when the pc boots and turns off. Sometimes they come on when I open a...
