I think I'll do that. Anyone else who tried this? I also lowered the temperature of the CPU in my SG01 by putting some tape over the holes that are meant for the FX121 cross flow fan. Last week I installed 2 x 2GB Buffalo Firestix Heat memory but I'm not able to run these at the rated timings of 4-4-4-12, the PC doesn't want to boot. The best it can do is 5-4-4-12. SilverStone SG03 + Enzotech Extreme-X
I'm also very interested in a comparison between a NT06-Lite, NT06-Evolution and Enzotech Extreme-X in a SG0x. But who's willing to test it? ;) My E8500 @ 3.8 gets 61°C under full load (Prime95 on each core). Which I think is not that bad since this is with a NT06 in combination with a...- D-Three

Werid issue with new mATX build ..
In many cases the problem is a coil. Sometimes when the switching frequency is within hearing range, you can here a component vibrating. It's acts like a miniature speaker. It's a card based on an Atheros chipset. Never had problems with it; this card worked perfectly in an Abit NF7-s, Asus A7V880, DFI nF4 Ultra-D, GigaByte GA-K8NMF-9 and Intel DG965OT! :) But with this board, the system hangs. Help. NT-06 backplate pressing on solders, bending motherboard.
Not loose and not very secure ;) The board bends a little bit. It's hard to tell when it's right with this kind of mounting. I just made sure the cooler is pressed down hard enough. I tried to twist and tilt the cooler a little bit (without much force!) but it didn't move so I guess I tightened...- D-Three

Anyone having issues with this board and a (wlan) pci card? XP hangs on bootup when I enable my wlan pci card. When the card is disabled, the system boots perfectly and enabling the wlan card then gives no problems at all. But at next boot up, the system hangs again and only a hard reset is...- D-Three

If you're able to wait two months, the Q9450 will be a better buy. Same clockspeed but it's faster, has more cache, a higher FSB and it's cheaper. And Leman is right, if you don't need a quadcore, don't buy it. Why not? My previous setup was an E6400 with an Intel DG965OT. Never had problems...- D-Three
