got a BFG 8800GTS 3 weeks ago for $317 flat.

Has anyone discovered the solution for fixed aspect ratio scaling for this monitor yet? particularly with nvidia 7900 series video cards.

Samsung 205BW, not sure if it's a better screen but it seems to have more features, same size & resolution, with a little cheaper price.

The latest version of WinDVD 7.0 supports PureVideo as well. It works and looks fantastic on my VX2025wm.

Has anyone succesfully tried the DVI trick for scaling issue on 7900GT?

Just tried it on my 7900GT, got same error :( But I did not install the driver came along in the CD, do you have to? I read some users reported DVI problems as a result of installing driver CD.
