    Well if anyone was wondering what I ended up choosing, I couldn't find anything I liked in the 27" size for a reasonable price. I ended up buying 2 more u2312hm @ $160 each + tax from dell.

    Actually, the S series only carries a 1 year warranty by Dell :(. If it was the 3 year like on the Ultrasharps... it wouldn't be that terrible.

    Have you given some thought to the Asus ProArt screens I have few PA246Q's and they've been wonderful. Never did any gaming on them though, just photoshop.

    One thing i was afraid about on the S2740L was the glass, how bad is it? Granted all my monitors have ever been matte :confused: Hows ghosting/lag? I should of specified this won't be my main screen, I'm adding it for the extra real-estate to go along with my 3 24"s
