Gamers usually want TN panels, AFAIK there are only two 24" - Samsung SyncMaster 245B and maybe Acer x241Wsd.

There are some differences - you can compare them on my web*. I am trying to get as exact information as possible, but sometimes it is almost impossible...

AFAIK FP241W has P-MVA panel AUO M240UW01 V0, both FP241WZ and FP241VW have A-MVA panel AUO M240UW01 V2. FP241VW and WZ should have fixed 1:1 pixel mapping issue and also benefit from PerfectMotion (aka AMA-Z aka BFI) technology (black frame insertion to enhance movie watching experience)...

I know 24" monitors which use TN panels (Acer x241Wsd, Samsung SyncMaster 245B) or MVA (BenQ FP241WZ, LG 245WP, 246WP).

The 30" has smaller pixel size than 24" (0.25 vs. 0.27 mm) which means the displayed text is smaller, even though the resolution is bigger.
