Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I want to build something like this:
http://www.hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1031655626&postcount=6
It should be quite and cool and be able to take at least 6 HDDs that generate a lot of heat.
It should have enough room that nothing gets in the way or even gets broken off. (I had a case...
Thats pretty close to what I am considering:
From my current SN25P I will use the hard disks (76GB Raptor....) and my Asus 8800GTS 320mb.
1 x Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 95W, 4x 2.40GHz, 266MHz FSB, 2x 4MB shared Cache, boxed (BX80562Q6600)
2 x A-DATA Vitesta DIMM Kit 4096MB PC2-6400U...
I also considered the Tj-07, but tests say its too noisy. Also the P182 got much better reviews than 1100 and is supposed to be quiter than the TJ-07.
I wish one know if Antec has something up their sleeves like a P185, or a better P190.
First of all thats supra-national law that the US has to abide too, besides the US is doing the same thing with everyone else the rest of the time.
Similar disputes were over import taxes for e.g. wool, cotton or steel. And basically a ban is nothing else than a prohibitive tax - simply raise...
The link didnt work for me - I checked myself and you are right.
The SN25P PSU can be upgraded. But I am still not sure if my case would be cooler with a 450w PSU, than with the 250w it has right now. (I assume that my 8800GTS warms my whole case.)
Any ideas on that?
I am in a kind of more advanced state of this problem:
I have a 8800GTS 320mb, A64 3400+, 2GB Ram.
Until some days ago I had 3 hdds in my case, but after my Raptor killed Vista once again (4thtime), I removed all but one.
The case, especially the rear side arround the PSU gets really hot...
I am looking for a case for my next build:
Within a pricerange of 200USD are the
- PC-V1100A PLUS II
- Antec P182
and if you add another 100USD for a PSU, I have a retailer who offers the P190 within that range.
Which case is best in regards to noise and use? (Forget about the...
I think the case is really really ugly.
But which one would you rather recommend concerning noise reduction and ease of handling (changing parts etc..)?
