I think they are doing their bests to cut costs and finding out just how much their customers will tolerate (how much they lose in business vs how much they save in costs). Can't blame a company for doing that, but I can move my orders to another vendor. We've had a lot of good luck in the past...

I'm always in touch with the rep, but I think that the information she is reading off her screen is just being made up. Haven't had a rep that could call the factory floor as of yet, but that would really be nice. Delays happen, it's the lack of information and BS excuses that are getting to me.

I ordered mine back in november too, still not here and I have zero faith in the delivery dates they keep making up. I know what you mean though, sometimes the servers come in quick. I'm curious though, if Dell has decided to run so lean that they are now prone to horrible shipping delays...

I think its a scam. I tried to get a 37" LCD TV for $750 from the amex site about a week ago and had the exact same problem. The TV is no where near as popular as the 360 yet the system was still responding questionably. It's fishy. I wish someone would use a packet sniffer and check out...
