Does Lian-Li still make the best cases?

Case Labs makes the best cases... and it's not even close. In fact, when I got my original M8 some years ago, no other product I've ever had, of any industry (be it cars, electronics, furniture... what have you), came close to the quality that case had. Obviously they are a pretty penny. I've...

    Dell UP3017Q - 4K 120HZ Oled 30"

Yeah, thanks for this. I'm just in the camp that believes if not used in some ridiculous fashion (24/7 static image), burn-in in today's high-end displays is something of the past. I have an 8 year old Panny plasma which has gone through hell in terms of static images, etc., and it has shown no...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Nitemare, thank you for the great info! Very helpful.... I did see the vignetting issues mentioned on AVSforum and that definitely concerned me, so if I do go the LG oled route, I will wait for the B or C series coming out later this year. As you mentioned, LG did say they implemented a fix for...

    Dell UP3017Q - 4K 120HZ Oled 30"

I'm with you there. I was hoping to move to a bigger size from my current 27" Eizo, so although these specs of 4K oled @120Hz are so enticing, I am balking at the price for the size. 40" would be perfect IMO. But still, I am eagerly anticipating more info...

    Dell UP3017Q - 4K 120HZ Oled 30"

And I play RPGs primarily, so for me, Dell dropped a bombshell with this announcement. Unfortunately, it's outta my price range! Regardless, this is good news on the tech front, period.

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

OK, thanks for the info! I will be watching a good amount of movies on the TV as well, so I have to consider both pros/cons for video games and movies. The only other concern I have with the OLED is image retention since I also play a ton of old school type RPGs with a lot of static images...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

I am considering either the Samsung 55" JS9000 or an LG oled 55" EG9600 as my next monitor/TV. Would it be safe to say that the higher price of the LG is the primary reason many are picking up the 55" JS9000 instead of the LG oled (seems like it on these forums)? The reason I ask is that at...

    Phanteks evolv

Same here... I have an external optical drive which I used once to install Windows 8, and that's about it. Since the ATX Evolv is coming out later than the other Evolv sizes, Phantek probably decided, "Ah, hell with it (optical drive)!" Optical drives are going the way of the floppy disk :D...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Can't go SLI because I have a mini-ITX board (and mITX case, etc.), so only one slot for the graphics card. May consider going to a bigger motherboard later, but for now it has to be a single card. I agree and think the 980Ti would suffice. If I have to tone down some settings that's ok by me...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

As I mentioned in the previous page I am going to pull the trigger on the 48" JS9000 soon. However, I only have the option for a single gpu to drive it. Since I can't SLI, should I go 980ti or Titan X as my single card? Price is not too much of a concern if I can get the extra oomph from the...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Thanks! Agree, in the end, the major third party guys (EVGA, MSI, Asus) all do a good job anyway.

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Just went through much of this thread and I am excited to see these Samsung models as a viable option for a 4K "monitor." I'm looking at the 48" JS9000 most likely. I have been using an Eizo 27" 2560x1440 for quite some time now (and Dell 27" prior), and my body is ready for a high res, large...

    Eizo FlexScan EV2736W

As NCX mentioned, if the blb is not too intrusive during normal lighting situations, I think you should stick with it. I got over the little blb I had after the realization that Dell, Asus, Samsung, Viewsonic, and Korean brands aren't going to do any better in terms of bleed...and most likely...

    Eizo FlexScan EV2736W

My EV2736W exhibits some bleed at the top, so this monitor is definitely not exempt from blb, although bleed is minimal on this monitor in general compared to other models. There is an absence of pls glow which is a huge plus, so I am very happy with it. I got the VP2770 (a second...

    Eizo FlexScan EV2736W

Hmmm... For some reason when I have it around 30 brightness, it actually still seems bright in a lit room. In fact, it doesn't get really dim until I go below 20. I may be missing something? Do you have your Eco Settings on?
