Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i just set the VCore to 1,30625. Sometimes my network just goes away and only comes back when I boot - what might be cause of this - and do i need to increase voltage on north/southbridge. ps PCIe is locked!
no, not using VISS. Actually the PC just froze - this time during work.
I have now brought the OC back to 400x8,5 leaving the Mem. at 1333 (this memory is rated at 1333 at 9-9-9-20) - let's see what happens. Really strange.
Is there any Win7 log I can check?
All,
I have OC'ed q9550 to 3.5GHZ (417x8.5) - system is stable for 24hrs w/ Prime95 and IntelBurnTest. Voltages are Auto (except Memory at 1.7V). PCIe and all other are locked at 100. C1E OFF, Virtualization OFF, SpeedStep OFF.
System will freeze, ie even mouse does not move anymore...
not sure why the PCIe lock won't work: the 2xLAN is integrated on the MoBo - on the PCIe I only have a SB and a GPU and both work fine. moreover in the BIOS settings I have stayed away from these settings. How can I check this?
Wauw - great thread - compliments all!!!
Don't want to hijack this thread just some personal observations:
1/ I have a q6600-g0 and I can OC to 3.3Ghz - stable for 30 mins then the network just stops working (without any clear sign why!) - I have already increased voltages on north- and south...
