what would you guys move up to from a 4870 video card? i am considering a 6950, i sold my 5870 vapor-x in my sig.

my 4870 idles at 37 and never hits 50.

Update your codecs and alll will be fine. I believe ffd codec controls that.

Running crossfired 4850's in 64bit win 7 7100. No issues. AMD 9850 with 8gb.

Sapphire told me that a 4870 and a 4850 can not run in crossfire.......LOL

I have never had a problem installing drivers before these 9.3's. But I had a whole lot of problems with them.

Ok so I contacted amd/ati and they asked for me to send them my dxdiag file, I will keep you posted for more.

Different installs. I usually just install and all is fine but this time all kinds of problems. Wondering how I am going to go back to 9.2 since i have deleted every ati file on the machine to get these to install.

Installed in vista32 over the 9.1 and no issues to report. However did a few benchmarks and crysis i lost about 5fps over the 9.1's I am only getting an avg of 47.05 from 52.75 with the 9.1's again it is a benchmark not noticable during game play at all. Running 4870 512 crossed with 4850.
