    What I meant is that I have a decent Intel I-5 cpu so I don't need to replace that but I have heard that you need a pretty good motherboard to use the 480x cause of the power usage it draws from it.

    I currently have an EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti Superclock w/G-SYNC Support 2GB GDDR5 128bit, Dual-Link DVI-I, HDMI, DP 1.2 Graphics Card (02G-P4-3753-KR). For the monitor I would hve to check on later but its a 24-26 inch Asus that i got last year for around $135 or soemthing.

    the price for yours is still in the range of a gtx 980ti and I would love to get into 4k gaming but not sure of the cheapest way to go and if my motherboard can handle that so I'll have to stay with 1080p for now. Really new to this upgrading scene as you can see.
