Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think it's that with that one title "Exploding Kittens" - those guys managed to capture both the cat and the anti-cat markets in one fell swoop. The Oatmeal was just the (big-ass) neutron that started the chain reaction...
I think that's if you got one of the first ones that rolled off the line and not the retail editions. I got one of the last-week backer Limited Editions and I have had zero problem with the controller. No sticking buttons, the side plates are VERY secure and I have not experienced controller lag.
That poor kid at the end of the video :( - I sure hope the fireworks company and the city reschedules this (at the fireworks company's expense) if for no other reason than to make it up to that little guy...
Except for when it is being marketed as an OS for noobs
Case in point: http://www.ubuntu.com/ubuntu
"what is an os?" - yeah, that sure sounds like a question for non-noobs, doesn't it?
It's not just the commenting system - the ENTIRE site has been hacked - all of it, the site source code - including the redesign, ALL their MySQL databases, publishing accounts, tons of sensitive information, etc has been compromised.
Spammers are already at work hacking exposed user's twitter...
I think the backlash is more toward AT&T than Apple. I have to admit that if the iPhone were released for Verizon, I'd have one in a heartbeat (as a matter of fact, I'll be getting a wi-fi only iPad once Froyo comes out and I can use it as a hotspot for the iPad :) )
Lesse, $300-$600 every 5 or 6 years, plus $20 month (gamefly subscription) or $60 every few weeks...
A lot less expensive than the $10,000 or so for a half-kilo of coke per year?
yeah, I'll stick with gaming
