turned out it was my PSU fan that was spinning to much due to lots of dust in the fan. A little cleaning got it settled out

i kinda got this computer 3rd party so no manufacter warrenty wtc. Im not to concerned about the heat. My only problem right now is the FAN NOISE. Is there anyway to manually reduce it?

sorry to sound stupid but where does on get one? I have never built my own computer and know nothing about cooling

mx1000 owns, i have one and i love it. G15 and my speaker setup is slick too

but i dont see any place to add fans, and this case has no side fan slot

it maybe the fan on the cpu, but its enclosed in a metal casing. Since its small i cannot really tell where the sound is actually coming from. Can i reduse fan speed via SpeedFan to check which maybe causing it? here is a screenshot of Fan1 which seems to be the culprit, Anyway to slow it...

but if its in the psu then its inside the box is it not? by box, i mean power supply case/holder

since the case is too damn small its hard to be sure, but from what i can tell its coming from the Power supply fan.

I think its the PSU fan, any recomendations, this is an IBM computer p4

Ok here is my dillema when i have to Hard Drives Plugged in They run in PIO Mode Only (THE DMA STUFF IS ALRDY SET) however when i unplug the 'slave' drive boom back to Ultra DMA 5. So im confused, I'm going to play around with the jumpers see if i can work something out as possibly something is...

Ok, i just installed another cordless mouse and i conclude it is not the mouse fault but it must be my computer as the same problem has occured any insight.?
