There's a point everyone seems to be missing here (everyone is harping on about the GPU implementation of MANTLE) and that is that this API optimises the CPU as well. So what you'll see is that games that use MANTLE will see a boost irrespective of the GPU - due to the CPU optimisations the API...

As Auzen are relying on Creative for the drivers for their new X-Fi Prelude card, does anyone know if it's going to suffer the same 4Gb memory problem as the X-Fi? I.E. 4Gb or more of RAM in your rig turns the X-Fi from a high-end gaming soundcard into an expensive paperweight... :mad...
