Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It's a PCI-E power connector if you're running multiple GPUs/Overclocking like hell so they get adequate power through the motherboard. If you aren't using multiple GPUs you'll be fine without I expect.
Would be interesting to know if like the article states it does increase memory voltages. Maybe enables things like Temp Target or other GPU Boost 2 features.
Think i'll wait before thinking of doing this to my 680 as it is currently clocked higher on stock volts, GPU at least.
LB at setting of 10 (one above lowest brightness) everything else default on standard.
Hm, are you using them on the standard mode? (or does lightboost ignore that bit  )
They were both done at fairly low brightness settings, that was at LB of one above lowest because of the...
Also do note that icc was created under the Standard preset on the monitor at 18 brightness and default contrast (80) non-lightboost
I have just started testing lightboost and it tints it a little red so might throw a second icc up for lightboost users depends how well it works out!
Main is left, right handed.
It'd be weird to have right monitor as main due to where my kb/m are on the desk and limited desk space. But I think i've always used left as my primary on dual monitors.
